Chain Velocity Guide & Analytics
Cross-chain capital velocity and volume acceleration tracking across Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and Cardano. Identifies which L1 ecosystem is attracting institutional attention before price confirms the rotation.
Velocity Time-Series Chart
Overview
A multi-line time-series chart showing volume acceleration (Velocity Score) for each tracked L1 over the past 30 days. Velocity = current 24h volume ÷ 5-day moving average volume. A score above 1.0 means volume is expanding relative to recent norms. Lines are colour-coded by chain: Ethereum (cyan), Solana (green), Avalanche (orange), Cardano (purple). The 1.0 baseline is drawn as a dashed white reference line.
How to Read
Lines crossing above 1.0 from below = capital accelerating into that chain. Lines well above 2.0 = unusual surge check whether it is organic demand or a one-off event. Lines persistently below 1.0 = capital leaving that ecosystem.
Cross-Chain Capital Flow Sankey
Overview
A D3.js Sankey flow diagram showing where capital entered the ecosystem (left: Fiat, BTC, Stables) and where it flowed to (right: individual L1 networks and DeFi verticals). Line thickness is proportional to 24h volume. Labels show the USD equivalent of each flow stream.
How to Read
Follow the thickest lines to see where new capital is being deployed. A thick line entering Solana DeFi from Stables = new capital deploying into SOL-based yield strategies a bullish indicator for SOL. Thin lines everywhere = capital is not moving between chains; range-bound market.
Network Signature Radar
Overview
A 4-axis radar chart plotting each chain across: Momentum (price vs 20D MA), Social Heat (mention velocity), Liquidity (DEX volume rank), and Institutional Vigor (Z-score of volume acceleration). Each chain is a separate coloured polygon. A large, even polygon = well-rounded high-conviction chain.
How to Read
A chain with large Momentum but small Liquidity = price moving on thin volume unsustainable. A chain with high Social Heat but low Institutional Vigor = hype without capital confirmation. Strong Vigor + Momentum together = high-confidence rotation signal.
